Harvest Market and Local Loans for Local Foods are working together to put on a Pop-Up Mini Market on April 9.

“This event is in full support of all our local growers,” said Maureen Redman, co-owner of Harvest Market. “It will also include a lot of locally made products, all set up in the farm market style. So please join us in this celebration of food, in the heart of historic Milford at 308 Main Street.”

Presentations will be made at 1 p.m. by Local Loans for Local Foods, Milford’s Mayor Laurie Howland and Harvest Market. This event can be enjoyed by all as a celebration of food in the heart of historic Milford. Locally-sourced market experience hosted in Harvest Market’s budding location at 308 Main Street in Milford.

The LL4LF peer-to-peer lending network. Its purpose is to connect people who have capital available to lend with local food enterprises that have need for low-interest loans, in hopes of keeping local dollars local and supporting the production and distribution of local, healthy food in the process. LL4LF is sponsoring this event which is hosted by Harvest Market.

In addition to LL4LF and Harvest Market, the following vendors will attend: La Terza Coffee, Our Harvest Cooperative, Bunny Jacobs Catering, Organic Farm at Bear Creek, Grandola Granola, Cracking Crust, Lobo Granola, P & P Woodfired Pizza, TS Farms, The Pickled Pig, Natural Products from the Hive, My Momma’s Kitchen, MT Farm, Turner Farm, Mi Artisano Foods and Madisono’s Gelato.
