The Batavia Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is currently investigating a one vehicle fatal traffic crash.
The crash occurred on March 15, 2016, at approximately 9:03 p.m. on US 50 near mile post 3, Miami Township, Clermont County, Ohio.
A 1994 Chevrolet S-10, operated by Randell E. Marsh, age 51, of Cold Springs, Kentucky was traveling westbound on US 50. The Chevrolet S-10 failed to negotiate a curve, ran off the right side of the roadway, striking a traffic sign, ditch, utility pole, and embankment. Randell E. Marsh was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Clermont County Coroner’s Office.
Alcohol is suspected to be a factor in the crash and seatbelt was used.
The crash remains under investigation by the Ohio State Highway Patrol – Batavia Post.
