The University of Cincinnati Clermont College Lady Cougars will return to the United States Collegiate Athletic Association Division II National Championships this year in Uniontown, Penn.
The Lady Cougars (14-10) were awarded the No. 7 seed and will begin their tournament against the No. 2 seed Penn State Hazelton on Thursday, March 3.
UC Clermont has won two of their last three contests and head to Pennsylvania looking for a repeat of their 2013-14 National Championship.
The Lady Cougars are led this season by Jordan Scott (Conner HS) and Arica Stutz (Felicity-Franklin HS) who both average more than 14 points per game.
Other local ties include Milford Christian’s Brittany Freson, Batavia’s Sam Brown and Glen Este’s Whitney Brand.
