Looking for an exceptional school in which to place your child? We would urge you to take a tour through St. Louis School in Owensville, OH! Open Registration has begun for 2016-2017 school year.

St. Louis offers a family atmosphere with small classes and caring faculty. Besides the regular academic program St. Louis offers a “Go Quest” program to all students that challenges students of all levels.

Extracurricular activities include chess and art studio as well as sports and Boy and Girl Scouts and American Heritage Girls.

Students are also exposed to community involvement projects. On Nov. 6, 2015, a service day was organized by a group of faculty members: Mrs. Laura Shoemake, Mrs. Jeanne Daly, Mrs. Kari Crow and Mrs. Betsy Leu.

Part of the day was spent making cards to include in medicine bags for Hospice of Hope and candy bags for cancer patients. Personal care bags were made for the homebound in the community and to add to the St. Vincent DePaul pantry. Cookies were handmade and delivered to the Police Station, the library and other shops and organizations in the community as an expression of appreciation.

The another part of the day the students participated in a Walk-A-Thon at Gauche Park. The proceeds were earmarked to upgrade technology and to assist with operating costs. Parent volunteers chaperoned the walk and prepared a hot dog lunch for the students. Brownie’s IGA in Owensville donated the hot dogs. $4,800.00 was raised from generous sponsors. Students learned firsthand and by parental example the importance of community.
