The Federal Bureau of Investigations and Medicaid Fraud Control Unit of the Ohio Attorney General’s office searched the Clermont County Cancer Center on Feb. 23.

“The FBI, along with some law enforcement partners, are conducting law enforcement activity in that area. That’s really all I can say,” said Todd Lindgren, FBI Cincinnati public affairs specialist.

He also confirmed that the FBI and law enforcement partners were at the Scioto and Adams Cancer Centers as well.

The activity involves a sealed federal case, so Lindgren is not sure when he’ll be able to say more, as a judge needs to unseal the case.

“I can confirm that our Medicaid Fraud Control Unit, which is part of our health care fraud section here at the Attorney General’s Office, is also assisting and serving search warrants today,” said Jill Del Greco, public relations officer with the Ohio Attorney General’s Office.
