The Clermont Festival Chorale presents MASTERWORKS – This concert will feature the Schubert “Mass in G”, three Renaissance motets based on psalms (by Schutz, Palestrina, and Philips), and the grand chorus “Achieved Is the Glorious Work” from “The Creation” by Franz Joseph Haydn. Both the Schubert “Mass” and Haydn chorus will be accompanied by a chamber orchestra.
The concert will be presented on Sunday, February 28, at 3:00 pm, at St. Barnabas Episcopal Church, 10345 Montgomery Rd., Cincinnati, OH 45242. No admission will be charged but a $10 donation is suggested.
The Clermont Festival Chorale is a community chorus committed to celebrating timeless and innovative choral music in Clermont County and the surrounding areas. A non-profit organization, CFC is the only community choir in the Clermont County area. They are under the direction of Tim and Tracy Carpenter.
