Milford Exempted Village School District is holding open registration for its Preschool program for the 2016-2017 school year. Registration will take place on Thursday, Feb. 11, and Wednesday, Feb. 17, from 4-7 p.m. If you are unable to make either day, registration can be done after Feb. 19, by appointment on school days from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Milford Preschool is located at 1039 state Route 28.

Milford’s Preschool offers a 3-year old 4-day integrated program and a 4-year old 5-day integrated program. This program is a mix of eight special needs students and eight typically developing students to serve as role models. These classes follow The Ohio Department of Education’s Early Learning Content Standards.

Children must turn age 3 by Sept. 30, 2016, be toilet-trained and current on immunizations to be eligible for enrollment. Three-year olds attend the morning session Monday-Thursday (9:05 a.m.-11:35 a.m.) and four year olds attend the afternoon session Monday-Thursday (1:05 p.m.-3:35 p.m.). Four year old typical preschoolers also have the opportunity to attend Friday afternoons (1:05 p.m. – 3:35 p.m.) Class times are tentative based on enrollment. To register, parents need to bring the completed registration packet found on the Preschool webpage (www.milfordschools.org), a $65 non-refundable fee per child, an original birth certificate, proof of residence (utility bill, lease agreement, deed), and parent/guardian driver license. If you have questions, please contact the Preschool at 728-7400.

The Milford Preschool follows the MEVSD open enrollment policy.
