Registration for part-time and full-time kindergarten in Milford Schools began on Jan. 4, 2016. To be eligible for Kindergarten in Milford, a child must be 5 years old by Sept. 30, 2016.

Milford Exempted Village Schools will again be offering a full-day kindergarten class at all of its six elementary schools. The cost of the full-day option is $3,000 a year. Scholarships and reduced fees are available for those families that qualify for the Federal Free and Reduced Lunch Program. Interested parents should call Mr. Jay Batterson, Central Registration, at 513-576-4178 in advance for an appointment to register. To insure your child has a place in the full-day program at your local elementary, it is important to call soon to schedule an appointment.

A lottery will be held on Friday, Feb. 12, 2016, at 4 p.m. to determine who is admitted into the all-day program. A one hundred dollar deposit is required on the day of registration, but will be refunded if your child is not chosen through the lottery.

After Feb. 12, Kindergarten registration will continue until all of the full-day kindergarten classes at all of our elementary schools are full. Note: full-day kindergarten is not a requirement. The district still offers half-day kindergarten, funded by the state of Ohio, at all of our elementary schools. Parents interested in half-day kindergarten must also schedule a registration appointment with Mr. Batterson.
