Pierce Township resident Bob Pautke was sworn in Dec. 14 as a member of the Clermont County Public Library Board of Trustees.

Pautke was appointed by the Clermont County commissioners to fill the seat left vacant by former board member Chris Smith.

Pautke is a Pierce Township trustee and a member of the Agenda for the Future initiative on both the Life Long Learning and Community committees. He also is director of LEADership for the LEAD Clermont program offered by the Clermont Chamber of Commerce.

He is a board member of the Clermont County Boys & Girls Club, Cincinnati Eastside Rotary and the Great Oaks Workforce Development Advisory Board. He is a member of the Clermont Chamber of Commerce, Legendary Run Community Association and is president of the Job Search Focus Group.

He is the founder and president of SOAR with Purpose.

Pautke is a U.S. Army veteran who served in Vietnam.
