On Saturday, Dec. 5, the Williamsburg Garden Club will sponsor a Christmas Home Tour from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at five locations in and near the Community. The tour will include four decorated homes and the Williamsburg First Presbyterian Church.

Featured will be a home built in 2004 having many different collections including numerous Christmas trees and a six foot Santa; a home built in 1845, listed on the National Underground Freedom Trail, that will be decorated with antique and vintage Christmas decorations, including five trees; a country home situated on a picturesque hill, decorated inside and out including a themed Christmas tree and beautiful table settings; and a home built in 2010 with festive outdoor decorations, numerous themed trees and crafters displaying items for sale. The last stop is the Williamsburg First Presbyterian Church, built in 1912. The sanctuary features beautiful windows of German stained glass.

It will be decorated for the Season and the church choir will be entertaining with carols. Crafters will offer items for sale in the parlor.

Also, canned goods will be collected for the Williamburg Emergency Mission. Light refreshments will be served at all locations and each home will have a door prize.

The tour is an opportunity to gather ideas and gifts for the holidays. The price of the tour is $8. Tickets and maps can be purchased from any Garden Club member or on the day of the tour at Windy’s World, 127 West Main Street.
