On Nov. 19 and 20, community members will be able to give monetary and food donations to needy families in the village just by driving by the Batavia Presbyterian Church on the corner of North and Third Streets. During these two day from 7-9 a.m. and 4-6 p.m., congregation members will gather donations from anyone driving by. The collected items will be divided into Thanksgiving food baskets to distribute to needy families identified by the Batavia schools and the community.

This food drive is dedicated to the memory of Ellen Woods, one of Batavia’s finest citizens, in coordination with Inter-Parish Ministries Food Pantry (located at the church). The food pantry is open every Saturday from 10-2. Phone messages for donations can be left on the church phone at 732-0510. Thank you for your support of this much needed ministry for Batavia families!
