The New York Times bestselling author of the Joe Pickett series, C.J. Box will visit the Union Township Branch Library Nov. 10 via Skype.

The visit is 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 10, at the library, 4450 Glen Este-Withamsville Road. Patrons are encouraged to ask questions during the program.

Pickett is a Wyoming fish and game warden, who finds himself solving mysteries and murders in and around Twelve Sleep County. Several colorful characters both help and hinder his efforts to do the right thing.

Box won the Edgar Allan Poe Award for Best Novel (Blue Heaven, 2009), the Anthony Award, Prix Calibre 38 (France), the Macavity Award, the Gumshoe Award, the Barry Award and the 2010 Mountains & Plains Independent Booksellers Association Award for Fiction.

The novels have been translated into 27 languages. The author also has written several standalone novels.

His novels have been optioned for film and television. More than four million copies of his novels have been sold in the U.S. alone.

A Wyoming native, Box is an avid outdoorsman. He has hunted, fished, hiked, ridden, and skied throughout Wyoming and the Mountain West. Box and his wife have three daughters.
