The 12th annual “Star Spangled Celebration” will be held on Friday, November 6 at 7 p.m. at Fields Auditorium at the Maysville Comm & Tech College in Maysville, Ky. This is a 2 hour musical concert/salute to Veterans. All Veterans that ask will be seated on special front row seating. Over 16 JROTC uniformed ushers will be there that night and will see to that.
This years lineup starring direct from Hollywood, the beautiful talented Laura Bell Bundy in concert – in honor of her late grandfather Wayne Bell, (also a Veteran) who passed away April 24, 2015 in Lexington. Also in the show is the talented and lovely Ramsey Carpenter, Miss Kentucky 2014-2015 playing her “Hoedown Fiddle”, the 22 piece Maysville Comm Brass Band, Mary Griffey, Judy Gallenstein, Connor Keef, the Orangeburg Choir, Mason County JROTC Color Guard, Nick Denham on Bagpipes with MC Caroline Keller-Reece.
This will be a fantastic concert that no man, woman or child will want to miss. FREE admission – free will offering at the door for our non profit org. RSVP (Retired Senior Volunteer Program), and a can of food for the Veterans Food Pantry. FREE parking for over 500 cars. FREE shuttle to the front door.
