The Clermont County Board of Commissioners presented a proclamation to representatives of the Clermont County Board of Developmental Disabilities (CCDD) in recognition of National Disability Employment Awareness Month.

The presentation was made at their meeting on September 23, 2015.

Ethan Stuempfle of Union Township accepted a proclamation on behalf of CCDD. Stuempfle is employed with Kroger Eastgate and explained information about his job and how a coach through CCDD helped him train for his position. Stuempfle has been on the job at Kroger since 2012.

Each year, National Disability Employment Awareness Month is celebrated in October to bring attention to the many people with disabilities who are working in successful jobs across the nation. This year’s national theme was defined by the US Department of Labor as “My disability is one part of who I am.” For more information about National Disability Awareness Month, contact CCDD at (513) 732-7000 or sbrown@clermontdd.org.
