For the past 20 years, Circle K convenience stores have partnered with the March of Dimes for its annual Pick-a-Pumpkin campaign. Customers can stop by any local Circle K, make a donation, pick your paper pumpkin and join the fight against premature birth, the number one killer of babies.

March of Dimes is leading the fight for healthier babies, and the Circle K’s Pick-a-Pumpkin campaign raises funds to further their mission through research and education,” said Elizabeth Smith, Human Resources Director for the Great Lakes Division for Circle K stores. “Participating in Pick-a-Pumpkin allows our Circle K customers to show their commitment to that mission.”

Local Circle K stores are part of 1,200 stores in 14 states participating in this year’s campaign.

The Pumpkin Campaign runs from October 9th through November 1st. Last year, $1.1 million was raised to benefit healthier babies. Over the last 2 decades, the program has raised $9.8 million for March of Dimes.

“Circle K has been a tremendous community partner, and we are thrilled they are again partnering with us on the Pick-a-Pumpkin campaign,” said Karen Keller, State Director with the March of Dimes. “Stop in and pick your pumpkin to support the fight for healthier babies. With your gifts, we can fight the causes of prematurity together through research, education, treatments and so much more.”
