Over 5,000 people visited Scene75 in Miami Township to celebrate the grand opening from September 25-27.

The grand opening included a ribbon cutting on September 25, attended by Scene75 staff, the Miami Township Trustees, Miami Township staff, members of the Clermont Chamber of Commerce and more.

Miami Township Trustee Mary Makley Wolff said she hasn’t seen the parking lot this full in about 10 years. She gave a proclamation recognizing Scene75 for its investment in the community.

Jonah Sandler, Scene75 chief entertainment officer, said that after months of conversation and evaluation, he was happy to choose Miami Township for Scene75’s second location.

Demolition began in March, with construction starting about a month after that. Sandler expected the project to cost $8-10 million, he said in March.

Without his team and the township trustees, the second location would not have been possible, Sandler said.

“I can only hope this is the beginning of what you see here in the parking lot. This really is the start of things to come,” Sandler said.

“Part of the Chamber’s role is to look at quality of life in Clermont County, and we always talk about this being such a great place to live, work and play and this gives us a tremendous opportunity to expand that in an area that was not being fully utilized,” said Tom Rocklin, chairman of the Clermont Chamber Board.

Scene75 opened September 11 and had a two-week soft opening before the grand opening, Sandler said. The soft opening gave Sandler time to finish some final items and train his team.

The soft opening went well, Sandler said. Scene75 saw thousands and had its first birthday party booked already.

Keith Miller, of Loveland, was at Scene75 for the first time on September 25 with his son and his son’s friends. The kids had tried shooting games and the laser maze so far, he said.

“It’s really nice; nice, clean, open,” Miller said.

The grand opening included a laser tag competition and over $30,000 in giveaways, according to a release.

“It’s a great addition to Clermont County,” said Commissioner Ed Humphrey.

Scene75 is located at 876 state Route 28 in Miami Township.
