Gladys C. Beasley, 95, of Amelia, passed away Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at Eastgatespring of Cincinnati. She was born October 25, 1919 in Veedersburg, IN, daughter of the late Frank Manning and Nancy Richards Morris. Gladys was the widow of the late Gordon B. Beasley, who she was married to for 48 years.

Gladys was a remarkable woman who was proud to be a full-time mother and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by three sons, Gordon Beasley Jr., Jerry Beasley and Roy Beasley. Survived by two sons, Daniel (Marcia) Beasley, Rick (Debi) Beasley ; daughters, Kathy (Ken) Snouffer, Nancy (Bill Borders) Beasley and Susan (Warren) Scott; grandchildren, Mindi, Randy, Michelle, Tammy, Jerry, Roy, Darrin, Angela, Joel, Jaime, Daniel, David, Aaron, Alicia, Gary, Sarah and Autumn; several great grandchildren; several great-great grandchildren; brother, Niles Parker and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, parents and sons, she was also preceded in death by a grandson, Gordon Beasley III “Gordie” and her sisters, Beulah, June, Delia, Loraine, Norabelle and Onie Willis.

Gladys’s wishes were to be cremated. A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are by E.C. Nurre Funeral Home, 177 W. Main St. (S.R. 125) Amelia.
