The Clermont County Public Library is accepting teen and adult submissions for the 2015 Short Story Contest.

Writers will be divided into two categories for judging: Teen ages 11 to 17 and adult 18 and over.

Drop off a printed copy of the short story at any branch library or email it as a Word document to info@clermontlibrary.org no later than midnight Oct. 31. Submissions must be typed, double-spaced and in a legible font. Stories must be original, unpublished short stories that are between 700 and 1,000 words.

The stories will be judged anonymously. All entries are final. Stories will not be returned and should not contain any explicit sex or violence.

Winners will be announced Dec. 7 and will receive a gift basket. Winning entries also will be posted to the library’s website, clermontlibrary.org.
