Two Union Township residents have been indicted by the Clermont County Grand Jury on 30 counts concerning their involvement in a series of burglaries in Clermont County’s Batavia & Stonelick Townships.

Jeff Lindsey, age 30, has been indicted on 18 counts of burglary, third degree felonies.

Laura Miller, age 31, has been indicated on 12 counts of burglary, third degree felonies.

Beginning in May and continuing through the month of July, Batavia Township experienced a significant increase in residential burglaries.

Twenty burglaries were reported between 5/15/15 and 7/30/15 in Batavia Township. Property stolen from these residences included jewelry and small electronics. This investigation found that Lindsey and Miller also committed a number of burglaries in Brown and Hamilton Counties.

A large amount of jewelry was recovered from the Clermont County residence where Lindsey and Miller resided.

Jeff Lindsey and Laura Miller estimated to be in excess of $50,000.00. Investigators are working with homeowners in an attempt to identify and return the jewelry. Investigators will continue to review reports from surrounding townships for any additional cases in which Lindsey and Miller may have been involved.

Both subject are currently incarcerated at the Brown County Jail, and have been indicted there and in Hamilton County on similar charges.
