The next Rotary Networking Night will take place on Tuesday, September 29, at the Holiday Inn and Suites, Eastgate. This event is sponsored by the Batavia Rotary Club and gives the community an opportunity to learn about Rotary’s motto “Service Above Self” and how to become involved with service projects in Clermont County. Club members will be available to discuss the organization’s mission and the many charities they support each year.

A short business meeting will take place before a keynote presentation by Nico Straathof of Operation Main Street Speakers Bureau. This is a free speakers’ bureau that offers trained, experienced volunteer speakers who talk about how food is grown and raised in America today. Straathof is the owner-manager of Holland-Pyke, LLC in New Holland, Ohio, specializing in pork production. He is originally from The Netherlands and has been a member of the Ohio Pork Producers Council since 2007.

The Batavia Rotary Networking Night begins at 5:15 p.m. at the Holiday Inn and Suites Eastgate on September 29. For more information or to RSVP, contact (513) 201-7707 or RotaryClub.Batavia@gmail.com.
