The Stonelick Township Trustees at their regular monthly meeting September 2, presented a plaque to the Mike Cornwell family in his memory and honoring his more than 20 years of service on the Board of Zoning Appeals.

Present at the brief ceremony were members of Mike’s surviving family, his wife Shelby, son Bob and brothers Nick and Tom and their families. Trustees Skeets Humphries and Mrs. John Hanley presented the plaque and it will be displayed in the Stonelick Township hall.

Mike passed away in April of 2015 after being a life-long resident of Clermont County and Stonelick Township.

He farmed for many years with his brothers and father Bob. He was retired from the Ford Motor Company where he worked in the Batavia plant for many years.

The Trustees hope to continue the tradition of recognizing outstanding service to StonelickTownship by the many volunteers and employees of the Township.
