One of the most important supplies students need for school this fall is a library card. September is National Library Card Sign Up Month and it’s easy to get a free library card.

The Clermont County Public Library also has eCards. Visit clermontlibrary.org for more information.

Snoopy is the national spokesperson for National Library Card Sign Up Month this year. Have a photo taken with America’s favorite beagle. He’ll be visiting the Bethel Branch at 6 p.m. Sept. 15; Owensville at 11 a.m. Sept. 16; Felicity at 4 p.m. Sept. 17; Union Township at 10 a.m. Sept. 18; Milford at 11 a.m. Sept. 12; New Richmond at 3:30 p.m. Sept. 11; and Goshen at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 21.

Patrons who have a library card can enter a drawing to win a prize by visiting a library and providing their name, contact information and telling the librarians why they love having a library card.

The prize for children age 0 to 11 is a Kings Island season pass and those age 12 and up can win an iPad Mini.

Take a selfie of family, friends or pets dressed up like a Peanuts character, post it to our Facebook page and be entered to win a Plush Snoopy and a gift card.

The Clermont County Public Library is celebrating 60 years of service to the community in 2015. Visit in person or at clermontlibrary.org. What will you discover with your library card?
