Dear Editor,

I am sending a pretty poem that my late sister, Mary McMillian, wrote about the beautiful Ohio that we lived in. New Richmond is where I grew up.

I enjoy my Clermont Sun Newspaper, it is one of the best.

“It is Autumn in the Valley”

It is autumn in the valley

where the beautiful Ohio flows between the many rolling hills where trees and flowers grow.

It is in the valley when

morning fog forms a shroud and the nice warm sun comes peeping through a cloud.

It is autumn in the valley with the various colored leaves and Mr. Jack Frost paints designs on windows to tease.

It is autumn in the valley orange pumpkins on the vine and the beautiful Ohio flows through this valley so divine.

Sincerely,
Irene Wilson Adams
