The Miami Township Trustees are accepting letters from Miami Township residents interested in serving on the Township Zoning Commission or Board of Zoning Appeals. These Boards assist with land use decisions within the Township. The appointed member will serve for a five year term to begin January 2016 and run through December 2020, or may be appointed to fill an unexpired vacant term.

The Board of Zoning Appeals meets on the first Monday of each month and considers and decides appeals from standards of the Zoning Resolution, including variance and conditional use requests.

The Zoning Commission meets on the first Thursday of each month and is responsible for recommendations on planning and re-zoning matters within the Township.
