George Michael Petri, 87, of Amelia, died July 26.
He is survived by children Joseph (Rebecca), George (Melissa) and Beatrice Petri, Karen, Diane and Rebecca Petri and Margaret (Daniel) Klosterman and Caroline (Thomas) Kaelin, siblings Catherine Preston, Anna Louise Smith, Marie Young and Teresa, Andrew and Edward Petri, grandchildren Christina Parsley, Michael Hall, Jessica, Jordan, Andrea, Nathaniel and Jacob Petri, Natalie, Sarah and Thomas Klosterman, Joshua Petri and Samuel and Helena Kaelin and great-grandchild Emily Parsley.
Petri was preceded in death by wife Beatrice (nee Menkhaus), children Mary Petri and Kathleen (David) Hall and siblings Helen B. Ratliff and John Petri Jr.
Visitation was August 2 at E.C. Nurre Funeral Home in Amelia. Visitation and Mass of Christian Burial were August 3 at St. Bernadette Church in Amelia. Interment Pierce Township Cemetery. Memorials to St. Bernadette Church, 1479 Locust Lake Rd., Amelia, OH 45102.
