Donald “Donnie” Ray Branam, 77 of Cincinnati, OH, husband of 58 years to Emma Ruth Crump Branam, who is formerly of Fleming County, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Friday morning, July 31, 2015. He was born on December 30, 1937 in Orangeburg in Mason County, KY, a son of the late John Allen and Nellie Davis Branam. A graduate of Minerva High School, Donnie was a retired Inspector for Milicron and also worked in the Sears tool department at Eastgate Mall for many years. Donnie was an avid UK Basketball fan, and he loved to play Eucker. He was also active in his community having served as a member of the Masonic Lodge #104, past President of the Glen Este Athletic Booster Association as well as being very active in the Willowville Knothole Baseball League Association in Cincinnati. Besides his wife, he is survived by: two sons, Barry Ray (Janet) Branam of Charlotte, NC, and Gary (Jesse) Branam of Cincinnati; two daughters, Benita Gray, and Gretchen Branam, both of Cincinnati; three grandchildren, Shauna, Christine, and Christy; five great-grandchildren, Jacob, Jordan, Luke, Carson, and Liam; and a sister, Betty Henderson of Germantown, KY. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Clarence “Shag” Branam. Funeral services were 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 4, 2015 at Mt. Carmel Christian Church. Visitation was 6-9 p.m. Monday, August 3 at the Carpenter-Fritz & Vice Funeral Home with Masonic Rites at 7:30 p.m. Visitation will also be from 9-11 a.m. Tuesday at the Mt. Carmel Christian Church. Burial will be in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Mt.
