Cincinnati Shakespeare Company is presenting “Romeo and Juliet” at Miami Township’s Community Park on Sunday, August 9, 7 p.m., as part of its 2015 FREE Shakespeare in the Park Tour. Set in modern day with new costumes and scenic designs, “Romeo” will feature a super hero costume ball for the Capulets party where Juliet meets Romeo for the first time.

Miami Township and Greater Milford Area Historical Society is again hosting Shakespeare in the Park. Hundreds of people of all ages attended last year’s performance of “A Midsummer Night’s Dream.” The Performance Pavilion at Community Park is a perfect setting for Shakespeare in the Park.

Come early, bring a lawn chair or blanket, and enjoy park activities prior to “Romeo and Juliet”. Sugar Snap! Sweet Treats food truck will offer award-winning gourmet desserts. The playground will be available for children to swing and climb before the play as well as during intermission. Admission is free.
