Lillian Ruth Laypool, 91, of Cincinnati, died July 16.
She was retired from the U.S. Shoe Corporation after 28 years. Laypool was born October 3, 1923 in Mason County, Kentucky.
Laypool is survived by children Janet Parker and Arlie Mitchell, Jr., 12 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, 10 great-great-grandchildren and siblings Elizabeth Ford, Oleda Mitchell, Martha Elliott, Betty Kielman, Vivian Robinson and Ollie Fryman.
She was preceded in death by parents Avery and Blanche (nee Tucker) Fryman, husband Charles Laypool and children Jewell Combess and William Mitchell.
Visitation and services were July 21 at Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley. Interment Maplewood Cemetery in Ripley. Memorials to The Maysville Nursing and Rehabilitation Facility, P.O. Box 556 Maysville, KY 41056.
