Mercy Health, which provides advanced, compassionate, quality care in your neighborhood through its care network, announces that it has entered into a collaboration agreement with Doctors’ Urgent Care Offices (DUCO).

Through clinical affiliation, Mercy Health and DUCO will focus on enhancing patients’ continuity of care and access, as well as the quality, safety and efficiency of healthcare delivery in the Greater Cincinnati region.

Physician leaders from both organizations will partner together in areas including quality improvement, service issues, patient education opportunities and wellness and prevention initiatives.

”Doctors’ Urgent Care Offices is excited to enter into this collaboration agreement with Mercy Health. Our company’s foundation is and always has been based on high quality medical care and we look forward to working with Mercy Health on initiatives that will enable us to enhance the level of quality care that our medical team provides to our patients,” said Paul Amrhein, President of Doctors’ Urgent Care Offices.

“Mercy Health wants to ensure that we provide patients with the right care at the right time. Our collaboration with Doctors’ Urgent Care Offices gives patients greater access to urgent care services and one more healthcare option when getting an appointment with a primary care physician is not practical or when the medical condition does not warrant a visit to the emergency room,” said John Starcher, President and CEO, Mercy Health – Cincinnati.

DUCO provides urgent care and occupational health services to patients and companies from nine locations throughout Cincinnati, Middletown, Dayton and Northern Kentucky. The agreement between Mercy Health and DUCO includes the following four DUCO locations:

• Colerain, Ohio

• Erlanger, Kentucky

• Milford, Ohio

• Springdale, Ohio
