A draft copy of a five-year Consolidated Plan that will help local jurisdictions in Clermont County assess their affordable housing and community development needs will be available for public review beginning April 15 through May 15.

Clermont County was required to develop the Consolidated Plan to become eligible for approximately $932,702 in Community Development Block Grant funding for FY 2015. This represents a significant increase over prior CDBG allocations; Clermont County became eligible for the higher amount when its population recently surpassed 200,000.

The Clermont County Department of Community and Economic Development (CED) held town hall meetings earlier this year to gather input from the county’s cities, villages and townships on the Consolidated Plan. Those interested can review the draft online at www.clermontcountyohio.biz/consolidatedplan.aspx . Printed copies are available for review at these locations:
