Gene Sears, 82, of Union Township, died April 1.
He is survived by wife Ayako Sears, child Mariko (Masaru) Mitsuhashi, grandchildren Jun and Yukari Mitsuhashi, great-grandchildren Chikara and Iery Mitsuhashi, siblings Bud (Margie) Sears, numerous nieces and nephews and brother-in-law of Jerry Kynn.
Preceded in death by his parents Terrill and Jessie Sears, sisters Wilma (Paul) Miller and Joyce (Winford) Oney and sister-in-law Libby Lynn.
Graveside service 2 p.m. April 4 at Mt. Moriah Cemetery.
