Customers walking into Trendy Treasures Consignment may be surprised to discover just how much the business offers.

Trendy Treasures, which has been operating for nine years, offers customers women’s clothing, shoes, purses, jewelry, furniture and home décor items. In addition, the store is connected to Jasmine Rose Florist and Tuxedo Rental, both run by Kim Little.

Jasmine Rose Florist is a full service florist that sells both fresh and silk flowers. Jasmine Rose works with Teleflora and 1-800-Flowers, so customers can have flowers delivered anywhere.

Jasmine Rose also offers tuxedo rental and fruit and gift baskets.

Little has been working with flowers for 25 years. She started with the florist shop and when the consignment shop next door was closing, Little decided to buy it and expanded.

The two businesses work well together, Little feels. The consignment store draws in a lot of traffic and then she tells customers about Jasmine Rose.

Little really enjoys being her own boss. She really enjoys running the flower shop, as flowers have always been something that comes naturally to her. She also loves interior design and has an associate degree in it.

Customers can count on there always being a sale in Trendy Treasures, typically anywhere from 20-50 percent off, Little said.

“I can’t stand to go somewhere and not have something on sale, so I just feel like it’s an incentive to make somebody buy something, that if they’re going to get 20 percent off or 50 percent off they’re much more likely to buy it,” Little said.

Those interested in selling items in the consignment shop will get half of the proceeds after the items sell, Little said.

There is a one-time $25.95 fee to open a consigner account.

Little has 1,050 consigners currently, none of which she inherited from the owner before her.

Little is selective about what she agrees to sell.

“If I wouldn’t put it on my body or take it to my house it doesn’t come in here,” Little said. All items are sanitized with special order sanitizer, as regulated by the state.

As prom season approaches, customers may find Trendy Treasures and Jasmine Rose an ideal place to shop.

Jasmine Rose sells corsages and boutonnieres, in addition to tuxedo rentals, Little said.

On the Trendy Treasures side, customers can find prom dresses, jewelry and shoes, Little said.

Both shops are open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Call 513-575-1938 for Trendy Treasures and call 513-722-1000 for Jasmine Rose Florist.

Both businesses can be found on Facebook and Jasmine Rose can also be found at www.jasmineroseflorist.com.

The stores are located at 1517 state Route 28 in Goshen, although the mailing address is Loveland. The businesses are across the street from Eagles Nest Golf Course.
