William “Bill” Joseph Flickinger, 71, of Batavia, died Feb. 22.
Flickinger was a long time deacon at Beechgrove Baptist Church.
He is survived by children Carol (Derek) Murray, Cathy Goulet, Rev. Randy (Karen) Fannin, Bill (Mary) Fannin, Jeannie (Bill) Molitor and Jackie (Paul) Attinger, 16 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren, siblings Jozetta (Phil) Casson and Robert (Nancy) Flickinger and many nieces and nephews.
Flickinger was preceded in death by wife Martha “Marty” (nee Sinz) and parents Joseph and Naomi (nee Mayor).
Visitation 9 a.m. Feb. 28 until services begin at 10:30 a.m. at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home in Goshen. Interment St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Fayetteville. Memorials to Beechgrove Baptist Church, 450 Independence Station, Independence, KY 40158.
