Joanna Bernice Smith (nee Barg), 81, of Houston, Texas, formerly of Summerside, died Feb. 11.
Smith enjoyed traveling and working with plants. She loved cats. Smith was born in Cincinnati.
She is survived by siblings Bill Barg and Bob Barg, children David Dinwiddie, Orren (Laura) Dinwiddie, Cheryl (Eddy) Ruiz, Kevin (Elaine) Dinwiddie and Brian (Dilcia) Dinwiddie, stepchildren Clara Carandante and Peggy Bovie, 17 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and nephews Bill Barg Jr. and Kenny Barg.
Smith was preceded in death by parents Fred and Helen Barg, sister Sharon Barg, stepson John Dinwiddie Jr., husband John Dinwiddie and husband John Smith.
