4-H enrollment season is here. Registration for the Clermont County 4-H program is due by March 1.

Clermont County has nearly forty 4-H clubs, specializing in home economics, leadership and animal science. Through individual and group projects, 4-H instills integrity, service, leadership and personal growth in youth. To view a list of projects and resources, please visit http://projectcentral.ohio4h.org.

To be a 4-H member, a child must be age 8 and in the third grade. For younger children, Clermont County offers a program called 4-H Cloverbuds.

To find a 4-H club in your area that meets your interests, as well as advisor contact information, please visit http://clermont.osu.edu/program-areas/4-h-youth-development. Advisors can answer questions about club meeting dates/times, tell you about their club’s interests, and will walk you through the enrollment process.

The 4-H program is managed by Ohio State University Extension Clermont County, a non-formal education branch of OSU. The office merges needs of local citizens with OSU’s research through four focus areas: Family & Consumer Sciences, 4-H Youth Development, Agriculture & Natural Resources and Community Development.
