Donald Ray Dowd, 80, of Batavia, died Dec. 30.
Dowd is survived by wife Helen (nee McFadden), children Dennis (Sabrina), Donna (Bill) Messinger, Dwight (Holly) and Dorothy (Jeff) O’Neil, grandchildren Megan (Kris) Kalin, Justin Messinger, Andrew Dowd, Maxwell Harmon, Anna Dowd, Allie O’Neil, Lauren O’Neil, Savannah Dowd and Jack O’Neil, siblings Louise Pickett, Bob Dowd, Bill Dowd and Lena Walden, half siblings Richard, Joyce and Doris and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by parents Orville and Mary Lou (nee Angel) Dowd and 8 siblings.
Visitation 11 a.m. Jan. 2 until services begin at 1 p.m. at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home in Goshen. Interment at Plainview Cemetery in Newtownsville. Memorials to Hospice of Cincinnati, PO Box 633597, Cincinnati, OH 45263.
