Visitors at the opening night of the Nativity.
The Comboni Missionaries have donated more than 1,000 pounds of non-perishable food items to the St. Vincent de Paul food pantry at St. Veronica Catholic Church. The supplies were collected from more than 1,400 visitors to the Comboni Missionaries’ 67th Annual Animated Nativity Display December 14-30.

Since 1947 the Nativity Display has been a tradition for local families who come back year after year, with many original guests now bringing their grandchildren to the experience.

“We are pleased to support the efforts of the St. Vincent de Paul society. The dedicated volunteers at SVDP are always available to help those in need, a mission that is near and dear to our hearts,” said Fr. Brian Quigley, Mission Director of the Comboni Missionaries.

Visitors to this year’s display were also able to view the Comboni Mission Museum with artifacts from countries where the Comboni Missionaries are in service, as well as a large exhibit of Nativity sets from Africa, Europe, Asia and the Americas. A Spanish language version of the Nativity program was popular again this year.
