As holiday festivities come to a close it is time to take down all of the decorations, including the Christmas tree.
Several jurisdictions in Clermont County offer residents an opportunity to recycle their Christmas trees including:
Amelia village:
Christmas tree recycling will be on Mondays along with yard waste pickup. For more information call (513) 753-4747.
Batavia village:
Christmas trees will be picked up at the curb beginning Dec. 29. For more information call (513) 732-2020.
Milford:
Christmas tree collection will be every Wednesday in January in the city of Milford. Residents should place the tree at the curb. Questions can be directed to (513) 831-4192.
Miami Township:
Christmas tree recycling will be Dec. 26-Jan. 31 at Miami Meadows Park, 1546 State Route 131, and Paxton Ramsey Park, 6265 Price Road, in the township. Drop-off areas will be clearly marked at both of the parks.
Owensville:
The Clermont County Park District is accepting Christmas trees for recycling from Clermont residents. Trees can be dropped off at Pattison Park, 2228 US Highway 50, Dec. 26-Jan. 11.
Pierce Township:
The township will collect Christmas trees for recycling from Dec. 26-Feb. 1 at the south corner of the ball field parking lot next to the fire department, 950 Locust Corner Road, in the township.
The township will also be accepting miscellaneous recyclable items, including boxes and wrapping paper, which can be placed in the oversized dumpster at the location.
Union Township:
The Christmas tree drop off will from Jan. 1-31 behind the Union Township Service garage at 4312 Gleneste-Withamsville Road in the township.
Decorations on all trees including ornaments, lights and tinsel, must be removed.
