Clermont Senior Services, Inc., which is a private nonprofit Ohio corporation, intends to submit a Proposal for a capital grant under the provision of 49 U.S.C. Section 5310 of the Federal Transit Act to provide transportation service for the elderly and disabled within Clermont County, Ohio, and Hamilton County, Ohio for medical appointments. The grant Proposal will request two (3) Light Transit Wide Body vehicles (LTV – 22’) and two (2) Modified Minivans.
It is projected that approximately 1,100 Clermont County seniors, some of whom are disabled, will use the transportation service five (5) days per week for various activities, including transportation to Adult Day services, dialysis treatment, medical appointments, senior congregate meal centers, shopping and other social activities.
Clermont Senior Services, Inc. invites comments and proposals from all interested public, private and paratransit operators including taxi operators, for the provision of transportation service to the elderly and disabled within our service area.
