Caroline Moreno, a senior at Amelia High School/Great Oaks was elected Historian for Business Professionals of America, Ohio Association at its annual Fall Leadership Conference on Wednesday, November 19, at the Greater Columbus Convention Center.

As a member of the 2014-2015 Ohio Association State Officer Team, Caroline will travel to Columbus for monthly leadership training sessions to enhance and extend the leadership skills that resulted in her election to the six-member leadership team. With the assistance of State Advisor Barbara Trent, the officer team will plan and conduct ceremonies at the State Leadership Conference March 11-13, 2015, and at the 2015 Fall Leadership Conference. According to Ms. Trent, “Caroline exhibited exceptional leadership abilities during officer candidate screening in October and during candidate speeches and campaigning during the conference. She is well equipped to provide outstanding leadership for the Ohio Association.“

In addition to her state responsibilities, Caroline was parliamentarian for her local chapter last year and is vice president this year. She is also vice president of National Honor Society and is captain of the varsity soccer team.

More than 1,500 BPA members, representing Ohio BPA’s 19 regions, attended the 2014 Fall Leadership Conference.
