The 34th Annual Amelia Christmas Parade is scheduled for Sunday December 7th at 2pm. The route will proceed from the vacant Kroger parking lot at 125 and 132 (1783 East Ohio Pike Amelia, Ohio 45102) to the new Kroger Marketplace (262 West Main Street Amelia, Ohio 45102). That is a change from years past, traveling in the opposite direction. The change allows us to stage the participants in one location and allow us to have the opportunity to distribute the awards following the parade. We would like to thank Kroger and American Modern Insurance for their support and believe this will be a special event this year!
The route will begin at 132 and 125 at the old Kroger location parking lot and will proceed down 125 to the Kroger Marketplace at 125 and Amelia Olive Branch.
We have more than 30 entries scheduled for this year’s event and believe it will be a treat for all the families of Amelia.
We will again have Mr. Redlegs participating, walking the parade route and personally greeting many along the route. We are also hoping to have the Xavier Musketeer mascot join us this year! We are awaiting the final confirmation at this time. Their participation is a treat for kids young and old alike and a great opportunity for photos.
We have floats, classic cars, horses and much more scheduled to participate so please plan to join us, Sunday December 7th at 2:00!
