Milford High School senior baseball player Cameron Roth will continue his academic and athletic career at Ohio Dominican College after recently committing to the school.
As a junior, Roth led the Eagles with a .421 batting average on his way to first team All-Eastern Cincinnati Conference honors. He was also a first team all-city selection by the Cincinnati Enquirer. Roth’s junior season also included 10 doubles, one triple, 19 RBI and six stolen bases.
Ohio Dominican, which is located in Columbus, is coached by Paul Page who is entering his 27th season at the helm of the Panthers’ program. Page has over 800 wins to his credit and was one of the winningest coaches in NAIA before ODU’s transition to the NCAA.
Roth continues in a long line of Eagle players under head coach Tom Kilgore that are playing collegiate baseball.
The current list includes: Bryce Anderson (Asbury), Lou Bruck (Wittenberg), Zach Cook (Winthrop), Jordan Crowell (Point Park), Ben Dobrowolski (Wittenberg), Ty Helton (Army), Hunter Losekamp (Cincinnati), Andrew Minton (Tiffin), Frank Sullivan (Wittenberg) and Austin Walker (Capital).
