Mercy Health – Cincinnati, which provides advanced, compassionate and quality care in your neighborhood through its care network, and organizers of the Mercy Health Tipoff Classic will host a news conference to announce the Tipoff Classic game schedule.

The news conference will be held at Mercy Health – Anderson HealthPlex, located at 7495 State Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45255

The conference will begin at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 20

The news conference will begin with lunch at 12:30 p.m., with the announcement of the Tipoff schedule to follow at 1 p.m. Athletic directors, head basketball coaches and trainers from the participating schools are invited to attend the news conference.

Mercy Health – Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine presents the inaugural Tipoff Classic, which will feature a total of 16 boys and girls high school basketball games, including teams from Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky, playing at campus facilities over a two-week period from December 2-16.

The event begins on Tuesday, December 2, when two of Northern Kentucky’s top teams face off with Newport Central Catholic visiting Dixie Heights. Four girls’ games, including defending Division I state champion Princeton at Lakota West on Thursday, December 11, are a highlight of the schedule. A matchup between two schools that have combined to win six state champions, North College Hill and Moeller, will wrap up the Classic, on Tuesday, December 16, at Moeller.
