Bonnie A. Nice, 73, passed away Oct. 4.
Throughout her life she nurtured those around her. While raising a family of four she was babysitter to 37 children throughout the years and like a mother to all. Her lasting impact is seen through the many children she helped become young men and women. She was an avid fan and ever present in the stands of her grandchildren’s sporting events. From crafts to gardening she expressed her creative spirit.
Nice is survived by her husband of 53 years Donald, children Donald (Ruby) Nice, Scott (Michelle) Nice, Mitch (Lisa) Nice and Kimberly (Geoffrey) Lockwood, grandchildren Ashley (Steven) Gulden and Katie Nice, Joshua and Alexandria Nice, Gered and Cory Lockwood and John and Lucianna Nice and great-grandchildren Caleb and Calvin Gulden, and siblings Christine Sigley, Don Burns, Jane Britton, Tessa Horne, Butch Burns and Louise Wiles.
Visitation 6-8 p.m. Oct. 8 and services 1 p.m. Oct. 9 at Evans Funeral Home in Milford. Celebration of life at Miami Boat Club afterward. Memorials to Miami Meadows Park.
