Many of these students will be competing in the Xtremebots competition at Wright State’s Nutter Center Saturday, Nov. 22.
The Xtremebots league is based upon a 15 pound weight limit, testing the students’ abilities to create a competitive unit in a small package.
The judges score the matches against other schools based upon (1) driving skills, (2) aggressiveness, and (3) damage to the other battlebot.
Perhaps an entry named “Bot Droppings” says it all! The double elimination matches last all day and end with a grand champion.
Amelia Baronbots is open to all Amelia students after school, meeting in Mr. Paul’s Project Lead the Way Engineering Lab.
