Joseph Hawkins, of New Richmond, has received an invitation to be part of Lourdes University inaugural Dean’s Scholars Program and acquire the Dean’s Scholarship this fall.
Hawkins is a recent graduate from New Richmond High School. He is an incoming freshman this 2014 fall semester, and is majoring in marketing.
As a high achieving student, Joseph earned entrance into Lourdes Dean’s Scholars Program, which is part of the university’s College of Business & Leadership (COBAL). Eligibility for this competitive program demands academic success; students who had a cumulative GPA of 3.2, were able to score at least a 22 on their ACT, and exhibited prior leadership experience in their high school career were all likely candidates for induction into the program.
