Clay Campbell, 81, of Union Township, died Oct. 7.
He retired from Norwood General Motors plant as supervisor in 1987. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He loved watching his grandchildren’s activities, fishing, woodworking and gardening. He was also active with Masonic Lodge #437 and American Legion Post 72.
Campbell is survived by his wife Hazel Neil Campbell of 57 years, children Ronald (Kathi K.) Campbell and Timothy (Lynn M.) Campbell, grandchildren Daniel (Katie) Campbell, Caitlin Campbell, Colin Campbell and Tara Campbell, siblings Ray (Lou “Granny”) Campbell, Audrey Jean Chaney, and A.B. (Marie) Campbell.
He was preceded in death by his parents George and Laura Campbell and siblings Molly Woods, Paul and Roy Campbell.
Visitation 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. services Oct. 10 at E.C. Nurre Funeral Home in Amelia. Interment at Mt. Moriah Cemetery. Memorials to Hospice of Cincinnati East or Glen Este Church of Christ.
