The Clermont County League of Women Voters is now participating online in Vote411.org.

This is a National LWV Voter Guide. This year, the LWV of Clermont County is offering to present the views of local candidates in Vote411.org.

With this online guide, a Clermont voter can see who is running in local races, and if the candidate has responded, the voter can see Candidates’ responses to questions on issues of local importance.

Voters can even print their own custom ballot, to remind them of their choices when they go to vote.

More information on the Candidates Forum is available by contacting LWVClermont@gmail.com or Visit www.Vote411.org.

The Clermont County League also recently presented a successful Candidates Forum, with all the local candidates participating.

These included David Uible and Richard Perry, candidates for the Clermont County Commissioner’s Office; Doug Green and Kenneth McNeely, Jr., candidates for the Ohio House of Representatives, 66th District; John Becker and Charlie Carlier, candidates for the Ohio House of Representatives, 65th District; Brad Wenstrup and Marek Tyszkiewicz, candidates for Ohio 2nd Congressional Districts.

There were approximately 100 people in the audience and of these were 28 students from local high schools.

Approximately 50 questions were addressed and presented by Cindi Andrews of the Cincinnati Enquirer.

For those who missed the event, it was captured on video and can be viewed from the www.LWVClermont.com website.

On the same day, National Voter Registration Day, the League partnered with the Entire Clermont County Public Library System to register several new voters.
