Milford gained 265 yards rushing and came up with a couple of key plays for scores, knocking off Withrow on the road by a 42-24 score on Friday night for the Eagles first-ever Eastern Cincinnati Conference victory.

The triumph spoiled Withrow’s first ECC league game as the Eagles improved to 3-1 on the season, matching the squad’s win total from all of the 2013 season.

The Eagle offense rode the able legs of its dynamic senior duo of running back Jack Young and quarterback Drew Ashcraft who accounted for all but seven of the 265 yards gained on the ground. Young bruised his way to 166 yards on 34 carries, while finding the end zone three times. Ashcraft scampered for 92 yards and completed 12 of his 16 passes for 124 yards, with one touchdown and one interception.utes into the game.

Milford will try to keep its momentum in league play going next week when it once again takes to the road, this time to Anderson, a 35-17 winner over Walnut Hills on Friday. Kickoff for the Week 5 match-up is set for 7 p.m.
