The memory of New Richmond’s 1906 Big Team, which won 2 of 3 games from the Cincinnati Reds, will be relived with vintage baseball games at noon and 2 p.m. featuring a local nine vs. the Ohio Village Muffins and Moscow Monarchs vs. Norwood Highlanders as part of the village’s Bicentennial Big Bash celebration Sept. 19-21.
New Richmond’s Bicentennial Committee has released its schedule of events for its ‘Big Bash’ bicentennial celebration Sept. 19-21.

The village’s bicentennial celebration, which begins at 6 p.m. Friday, Sept. 19 with live music at Curly’s BBQ Paavilion and Haussermann Park and a 19th Century Rivertown Ball at the Market Street School, will feature fireworks on Saturday, Sept. 20 and conclude Sunday, Sept. 21 at 6 p.m. with the Bicentennial Parade down Front Street.
